Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to join our software development team. The BA will act as a bridge between our clients (Australia, Switzerland, and global) and our technical team, ensuring clear requirements, effective communication, and successful delivery of solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of business processes, good documentation skills, and the ability to translate client needs into actionable technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis
• Work closely with clients to gather, understand, and document business requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for the development team.
• Documentation & Communication
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FS), Use Cases, and User Stories.
• Develop process flows, wireframes, and mock-ups where required.
• Communicate effectively between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure clarity.
• Domain Expertise Application
• Apply knowledge of E-commerce, Insurance, and Web Development domains to identify gaps and propose effective solutions.
• Benchmark client requirements with industry best practices to suggest process improvements.

Project Support & Coordination

• Collaborate with the Project Manager, UI/UX designers, and development/testing teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ensure business requirements are met during design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum methodology).
• Client Interaction
• Act as the primary liaison for client queries, requirement clarifications, and change requests.
• Provide updates and manage expectations with international clients across different time zones.

• Quality Assurance & UAT

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Educational Background: MBA, BE (Computer), MCA or any other equivalent.

● Experience: 2–4 years as a Business Analyst in IT/software development.

● Technical Knowledge:

○ Basic understanding of software technologies, databases, and web-based applications.

○ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Trello.

● Domain Expertise: E-commerce, Insurance, Web Development.

● Soft Skills:

○ Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

○ Strong documentation and analytical skills.

○ Ability to create structured documentation with attention to detail.

○ Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)

● Experience working with international clients (Australia, Europe, or US).

● Exposure to performance marketing/advertising tech tools.

● Knowledge of UI/UX design concepts and wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Axure).

● Certification in Business Analysis.
