Job Description

Role Overview: You are sought after to be the Band Manager for leading and expanding the Personal Care portfolio of a multinational FMCG client in London. Your role involves a blend of strategic foresight and operational implementation, with a specific emphasis on natural and heritage-oriented personal care brands. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around brand leadership, consumer engagement, innovation, and commercial success in the UK and European markets. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic brand plans aligned with business goals and market trends, taking ownership of the brand P&L for driving growth through portfolio management, innovation, and effective communication. - Identify and capitalize on unexplored market opportunities within hair care, skin care, and herbal wellness segments. - Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive 360 marketing campaigns, encompassing TV, digital, influencer, and shopper marketing initiatives. - Collaborate with global and local creative/media agencies to deliver culturally resonant messaging based on insightful data analysis. - Oversee the product pipeline, including new launches, relaunches, and value-added variants, while ensuring seamless coordination with R&D, regulatory, packaging, and supply chain divisions. - Utilize consumer data and market research to unearth consumer insights, refine brand strategies, conduct competitor analysis, and stay abreast of industry trends for a competitive edge. - Work in conjunction with sales and trade marketing teams to secure robust in-store presence and devise tailored retail activation plans, promotions, and strategies for various retail channels. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred) - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in brand marketing within personal care, beauty, or FMCG sectors - Prior exposure to UK retail or European markets is highly advantageous - Knowledge of natural/Ayurvedic product positioning is a bonus Additional Details: The company is seeking an individual with a proactive and agile mindset, possessing proven experience in managing personal care or FMCG brands. You should exhibit excellent analytical, creative, and project management skills, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and tools like Nielsen/Kantar/IRI is essential for this role.,
