Job Description

Job Summary:
The Senior Branch Manager (SBM) is responsible for managing the overall operations, business growth, and profitability of the branch. The SBM ensures achievement of business targets, compliance with NBFC policies, regulatory requirements, and high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business & Sales Management:
  • Achieve branch targets for loans, deposits, and other financial products.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow customer base and revenue.
  • Identify business opportunities and new segments for growth.
  • Monitor and improve collection efficiency and asset quality.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage branch staff to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Conduct training and skill development sessions for employees.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Operations & Compliance:
  • Ensure smooth functioning of all branch operations including loan processing, disbursement, and recovery.
  • Maintain compliance with NBFC internal policies, RBI guidelines, and statutory regulations.
  • Oversee audit, KYC, and documentation processes.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Handle escalations and ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
  • Ensure superior service standards at the branch.
  • Financial & Risk Management:
  • Monitor branch profitability and cost control.
  • Analyze financial statements, delinquency reports, and portfolio performance.
  • Take proactive steps to minimize risk and prevent NPAs (Non-Performing Assets).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in NBFCs, banking, or financial services, with at least 3–5 years in branch management.
  • Strong understanding of lending products, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
