Job Title: Blockchain Developer

About the Opportunity

Fireblocks

Key Responsibilities:

Wallet Development
Build and manage crypto wallets using Fireblocks or similar MPC-based custody platforms.
Implement multi-chain wallet support (Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, Bitcoin, etc.).
Ensure wallet security: private key management, MPC/threshold signing, role-based access.
Smart Contracts
Design, develop, and deploy secure, gas-optimized smart contracts (Solidity, ERC20/ERC721/ERC1155, upgradeable contracts).
Conduct code reviews, testing, and basic audits for vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflows, etc.).
Integrate with
OpenZeppelin
libraries and Hardhat/Foundry for development and testing.
Crypto Payments & Integrations
Build and integrate cryptocurrency
payment gateways
(merchant APIs, webhooks, on/off-ramp flows).
Support stablecoin payments (USDT, USDC, DAI) and real-time settlement systems.
Handle transaction signing, nonce management, confirmations, and reconciliation.
Backend & Infrastructure
Develop APIs and backend services using
Node.js/TypeScript
with ethers.js/web3.js.
Implement monitoring tools for on-chain transactions, gas usage, and payment events.
Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deploy using Docker/Kubernetes.
Integrate CI/CD pipelines for blockchain projects.
Security & Compliance
Implement best practices for security: HSM/MPC custody, encryption, whitelisting, access control.
Collaborate with compliance teams on
KYC/AML
integration and regulatory requirements.
Conduct security reviews of code, infrastructure, and smart contracts.

Required Skills & Experience:

3–4 years of experience as a
Blockchain/Full Stack Developer
.
Strong knowledge of
Solidity
, smart contract development, and deployment.
Hands-on experience with
wallet creation
(Fireblocks preferred).
Experience with
crypto payment gateways
and real-time settlement systems.
Proficiency in
Node.js, TypeScript, ethers.js/web3.js
.
Understanding of blockchain internals: mempool, nonce management, gas optimization, chain forks.

Good to Have:

Experience with
L2 scaling solutions
(Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism).
Familiarity with
NFTs, DeFi protocols, staking/yield farming
.
Cross-chain interoperability (bridges, Wormhole, LayerZero).
Basic blockchain
security auditing
knowledge.
Database (Postgres, Redis) and messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
