Business Development Executive – Roles and Responsibilities Role Summary: The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving the company’s growth by generating leads and converting them into long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities: 1 Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking. Research and qualify leads to determine fit and interest. 2 Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients. Understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly. 3 Sales & Revenue Growth Present and pitch products or services to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. 4 Market Research & Strategy Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Recommend new services or enhancements based on market demand. 5 Collaboration & Reporting Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, technical, operations) to deliver solutions. Maintain records of sales activities in CRM tools and provide regular updates to management. 6 Follow-up & After-Sales Support Ensure timely follow-ups with prospects and smooth onboarding of new clients. Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
