Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our technology team and support the digital initiatives of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for server-side web application logic, database management, API integrations, and supporting internal software tools that enhance project management, resource tracking, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain efficient backend systems, databases, and server-side applications.

• Collaborate with front-end developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to design technical solutions.

• Build APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance system functionality.

• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.

• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing applications as needed.

• Implement data storage solutions (e.g., databases, data lakes).

• Manage user authentication, authorization, and access control systems.

• Assist in automating reporting tools and internal management dashboards.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 2–5 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer.

• Strong knowledge of backend programming languages such as Python, PHP, Node.js, Java, or .NET.

• Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Web Services, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).

• Understanding of security compliance related to construction data and project management platforms.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical projects.

Preferred Traits:

• Experience in building or managing ERP systems, project management software, or construction technology tools.

• Exposure to construction industry-specific digital solutions or platforms is a plus.

• A proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
