We run a live production system used daily by 100,000+ businesses. Every API you write, every schema you design, and every optimization you make directly impacts real users, real data, and real revenue.

What You’ll Build

You’ll work closely with senior backend engineers, frontend teams, and product founders.

• Build and maintain production-ready APIs used by web and mobile apps
• Design and evolve database schemas that scale with real users and data growth
• Implement business logic, validations, and error handling correctly
• Integrate AI-powered features (content generation, insights, automation workflows)
• Work on asynchronous jobs, schedulers, and background processing
• Optimize API performance, query efficiency, and response times

Everything you build is intended to be shipped, monitored, and used in production.

You’ll Work On

• REST APIs with clean request/response contracts
• API versioning, pagination, filtering, and proper error handling
• Database design (PostgreSQL / MySQL / TypeORM)
• Migrations, indexes, and schema evolution
• Integrations with third-party platforms (social media APIs, payments, AI services)
• Background tasks (queues, cron jobs)
• Logging, debugging, and production issue analysis
• Basic exposure to scalability concepts (rate limiting, retries, fault tolerance)

Must-Have Skills

You should be comfortable beyond tutorial-level backend development.

• Node.js (TypeScript)
• REST API design and implementation
• Strong understanding of databases and schema design
• SQL basics (joins, indexing, constraints)
• Understanding of async programming and error handling
• Clean code structure and separation of concerns
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development
• Exposure to or curiosity about AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.)
