Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using

  Python and Flask

  .
• Work with

  large datasets

  using

  Numpy and Pandas

  for analytics and data transformation.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Support deployment and integration with cloud environments.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in

  Python

  with experience in

  Flask (or other Python frameworks)

  .
• Solid understanding of

  data manipulation and analysis using Numpy and Pandas

  .
• Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Exposure to AI/ML or data-driven applications.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
