Senior Engineering Manager

As a Senior Engineering Manager at Translytics Business Services Pvt. Ltd., located in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in driving engineering excellence for our cutting-edge SaaS products catering to data-driven supply chains of some of India's largest enterprises. Our platform is renowned for its advanced inventory planning, real-time supply chain intelligence, and AI-powered analytics. We are a dynamic team of seasoned supply chain and tech professionals, and we are currently seeking a senior technology leader who can take charge of owning, architecting, and scaling our core platform while nurturing and leading a high-performing engineering team. In this strategic and execution-focused role, you will collaborate directly with the founders, contribute to product direction, and ensure that our technology can meet enterprise-grade scale and reliability requirements. Your key responsibilities will include driving the design, scalability, and performance of backend systems and data infrastructure, managing, mentoring, and hiring engineers, ensuring timely and quality delivery of features and releases, guiding architecture through hands-on coding, fostering cross-functional collaboration, establishing engineering standards, and evaluating technology tools and services to future-proof the stack. Our current tech stack comprises Python as the primary language, Flask as the framework, MySQL as the database, and React.js for frontend development. We are looking for a candidate with 7-10 years of full-time software development experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership/management role, deep expertise in Python and SQL, a proven track record in delivering scalable B2B web applications, strong knowledge of system design, cloud architecture, and DevOps, team building experience, and a knack for thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
