Job Description: Azure Administrator

Key Responsibility Areas:

• A technical L2 role wherein a professional has to collaborate with developers and the IT department.
• This collaboration is necessary to facilitate optimum development processes, better scripting and coding, and improved product performance. As an Azure Devops Engineer, one must be ready to tinker with deployment strategies and software automation as per client needs.
• Strong Experience in Azure Devops with the mentioned skills : Azure IAAS, Devops (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, CI/CD, Maven), Azure PAAS, Windows, Active Directory, IIS, Linux, Apache, etc.
• Candidate should have a 2 to 5 years of experience in Azure DevOps, IAAS and Deployments.
• Strong Experience working with GitHub, Visual Studio.
• Candidate should be able to create automation using PowerShell/C#/Batch Scripting.
• Candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in testing, deploying, and supporting large scale services on Azure, or similar environments.
• Experience in defining and measuring internal and customer facing OLA/SLA.
• Expertise in analyzing critical production service environments.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Azure Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize Azure resources, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Azure Active Directory (AD): Configure and manage Azure AD, including user and group management, identity protection, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Security: Ensure that DevOps practices comply with security policies and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to DevOps tools, infrastructure, and Azure AD.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide guidance on best practices.

Technical Expertise:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Azure Infrastructure with strong experience in linux.
• Have Azure Migration experience.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including build and release pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure management, including virtual networks, virtual machines, and storage accounts.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory (AD), including user and group management, identity protection, and RBAC.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Understanding of networking concepts and cloud security principles.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Prometheus.
