Job Summary:

Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automation test frameworks

  using

  C# and Selenium WebDriver

  .
• Write and execute

  automated test scripts

  for web, API, and regression testing.
• Develop

  JavaScript-based automation scripts

  where required for front-end validations.
• Integrate test automation into

  CI/CD pipelines

  for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure high-quality releases.
• Perform

  defect management, tracking, and reporting

  using Jira.
• Create detailed test cases, test data, and documentation for automation coverage.
• Identify test automation opportunities and contribute to automation strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure test scripts are reliable, maintainable, and reusable.
• Provide feedback on software design and user experience from a testability perspective.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience

  in software testing with a focus on

  test automation

  .
• Strong programming skills in

  C#

  (must-have).
• Hands-on experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

  for UI test automation.
• Working knowledge of

  JavaScript

  for automation scripting and front-end testing.
• Experience with

  Jira

  for defect tracking and Agile project management.
• Understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies

  .
• Good knowledge of

  API testing

  (REST/Soap) and tools like Postman or RestSharp (C# libraries).
• Experience integrating automated tests with

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
