Audit Intern (NATS) Location: JM road, Shivaji Nagar, Pune Duration: 6 months Department: Audit Reports to: Audit Manager/Senior Auditor Job Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated Audit Intern to join our audit team under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in auditing practices, financial reporting, and risk management while working alongside experienced auditors. You will assist in the preparation and execution of audit tasks, helping to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and executing audits of financial statements and internal controls Prepare and review supporting documentation for audit testing Help with the identification and assessment of audit risks Support in performing tests of controls and substantive procedures Assist in preparing audit reports and presentations for clients Communicate with clients and audit team to gather necessary information Participate in the analysis of financial statements and business processes Learn about compliance requirements, industry standards, and best practices Qualifications: Currently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field Eligible for participation in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Prior internship or coursework in accounting or auditing is a plus Benefits: Gain practical experience in audit and financial analysis Mentorship from experienced auditors Potential for future career opportunities within the firm Exposure to industry best practices and NATS-specific learning opportunities
