The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining financial records, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is pivotal in identifying areas of financial risk and providing recommendations to enhance the organization's financial integrity and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Collate, verify, and analyze financial data using spreadsheets and accounting software. Examine company accounts and financial control systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assess levels of financial risk within the organization and suggest mitigation strategies. Ensure that financial reports and records are accurate, reliable, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Safeguard company assets by evaluating and improving internal controls. Identify inefficiencies or non-compliance in processes and recommend necessary changes. Prepare detailed audit reports, commentaries, and financial statements. Liaise with managerial staff to present findings and provide actionable recommendations. Ensure adherence to established procedures, policies, legislation, and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing or a related financial role. Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High attention to detail and organizational abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with risk assessment and management. Knowledge of internal control frameworks and financial reporting standards.
