Job Title: Audit and Compliance Associate

Reporting To: Finance Manager / Compliance Head

Role Overview:

The Audit and Compliance Associate will support the company in maintaining financial integrity, operational transparency, and adherence to statutory and regulatory frameworks. This role ensures that internal processes align with ISO standards, company policies, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing internal audits across departments.
• Review and verify financial transactions, inventory records, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor adherence to internal controls and recommend improvements where required.
• Support external audit coordination by preparing relevant reports and documentation.
• Maintain compliance registers for statutory filings, vendor agreements, and certifications.
• Conduct risk assessments and assist in implementing mitigation measures.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and other policy frameworks are followed across business functions.
• Document non-conformities and assist in corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure compliance with trade, tax, and import/export regulations.
• Support in preparing compliance reports for management review and board meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in audit, compliance, or finance operations (FMCG or import/export sector preferred).
• Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems).
• Familiarity with statutory compliances (GST, TDS, PF, ESI) and internal control frameworks.

• Sound understanding of financial controls and audit procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
