Job Purpose:

To plan, monitor, and control production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations, optimal utilization of resources, and achievement of quality and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan daily production schedules based on targets and available resources.
• Supervise shop floor operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely output.
• Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and store departments for uninterrupted production.
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
• Ensure product quality as per specifications and coordinate with the QC department for inspections.
• Maintain production reports, material consumption, and manpower utilization records.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices on the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Support new product trials, process setup, and production validation.
• Train operators and technicians for skill development and process awareness.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: 8 to 12 years in a production or manufacturing environment (preferably in engineering, fabrication, or assembly industry).

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Knowledge of production planning, process improvement, and quality systems.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with ISO and lean manufacturing practices.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head
Salary: Up to 12 LPA

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
