Role Summary

The role is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of IT assets—from procurement and deployment to monitoring, optimization, and secure disposal. It ensures compliance with IT standards, cost efficiency, and accurate asset tracking through ERP/ITAM systems. The position also supports business continuity through effective vendor management and adherence to audit requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Plan & Procure IT assets (laptops, desktops, printers, servers, network devices) through vendor evaluation, negotiation, and ERP-based purchase workflows.
• Deploy & Configure IT assets for end-users, ensuring compliance with IT standards, security policies, and lifecycle tracking in ERP/ITAM tools.
• Monitor & Audit asset utilization, license compliance, warranty/AMC status, and update the IT Asset Register regularly.
• Optimize Costs by reallocating underutilized assets, tracking renewals, and ensuring efficient vendor/service management.
• Retire & Dispose end-of-life assets securely, aligning with audit, compliance, and business continuity requirements.
