Job Description

A) General Legal Responsibilities:

1.Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company's interests are protected.

2.Litigation Management: Manage and oversee all litigation matters including court cases, labour cases, arbitrations, and mediations.

3.Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice to management and departments on all legal matters, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory compliance.

4.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring the company's assets and interests are protected.

B) Labour Law Responsibilities:

1.Labour Law Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, including the Factories Act, 1948, the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, and the Shops and Establishments Act, 1948.

2.Employee Relations: Provide advice on employee relations, including disciplinary actions, grievance redressal, and employee disputes.

3.Strategic Advice: Provide strategic advice to management on labour strike/unrest situations, including negotiation strategies and conflict resolution techniques.

Linguistic Skills : English and Tamil language is must. (Read, write and speak)
