About The Position
The Associate Manager – E-commerce will lead and manage BharatCares’ digital commerce initiatives focused on promoting social impact products, artisans, and rural enterprises. The role involves strategizing, managing online sales platforms, coordinating with production and logistics teams, and ensuring strong branding and customer engagement across online marketplaces.
Responsibilities
- E-commerce Operations & Strategy
- Manage day-to-day operations of BharatCares’ e-commerce platforms (own website and partner marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, optimize listings, and improve online visibility.
- Analyze sales data, website traffic, and campaign performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate product uploads, pricing, stock updates, and order fulfillment.
- Product & Inventory Management
- Work closely with artisans, SHGs, and producer groups to identify and onboard new products.
- Manage product photography, descriptions, and quality checks to ensure standardization.
- Oversee inventory tracking and ensure alignment between warehouse and online stock availability.
- Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Collaborate with the design and communication teams to plan digital campaigns, product launches, and festive promotions.
- Manage content creation for social media, website, and email marketing focused on storytelling and product impact.
- Strengthen the BharatCares e-commerce brand identity by highlighting social impact and sustainability.
- Partnerships & Business Development
- Build partnerships with marketplaces, logistics providers, and retail partners to enhance sales channels.
- Explore collaborations with CSR partners and corporates for gifting, bulk orders, or custom products.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain regular sales, performance, and financial reports.
- Track key metrics (sales growth, customer acquisition, repeat purchase rate) and present actionable insights to management.
Mandatory Qualification And Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or related fields.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in e-commerce management, preferably in social enterprise, retail, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, etc.).
- Proficiency in data analysis, MS Excel, and digital marketing tools.
- Experience in vendor coordination, logistics management, and online campaign execution.
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
