Brief Job Overview The Donations Program Manager is a professional, non-supervisory operational position responsible for supporting Excipients donation operations and acquisition. The Donation Program Manager’s primary objective is to engage with global donors in receiving quality donations, review donations for completeness and technical quality; and follow-up as needed. The Donation Program Manager will be expected to drive to consistency in donations processing; and to optimize the identification and delivery of high- quality donations. The incumbent works directly with the Excipients Program Unit (and staff), the Donations Team, Global Strategic Customer Development Managers, Scientific Experts, and donors. The Donations Program Manager Has The Following Responsibilities Review for the completeness and suitability of incoming donation material. Ensures the timely delivery of complete data packages to USP scientific staff for development into a final documentary standard. Serves as a contact and resource to support documentary standard scientists and customer-facing coworkers in the development and donation processes, driving to consistencies. Distributes and presents reports and/or donation dashboards to management, as needed. Manages multiple donations with competing interests, ensuring high quality deliverables are produced in a timely manner. Operates within a best practices framework, driving to consistency in process, operations, data, and systems use. Nurtures donor relationships to allow for pursuit of future donation and collaboration opportunities. Other duties as assigned. Who is USP Looking For? The Successful Candidate Will Have a Demonstrated Understanding Of Our Mission, Commitment To Excellence Through Inclusive And Equitable Behaviors And Practices, Ability To Quickly Build Credibility With Stakeholders, Along With The Following Competencies And Experience Bachelor’s degree in scientific-related field. Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Technical Service or Analytical Method Development areas of pharmaceuticals. Combination equivalent of degree/years experience accepted. Additional Desired Preferences Background in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical raw material characterization and familiarity with analytical method validation. Combined education in Pharma science and business highly desired. MBA is helpful. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data query, analysis, and reporting. Knowledge of or experience with Salesforce (or SRMS) and Tableau desired. Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with audience appropriate awareness. Superior interpersonal skills: professionalism, collaboration, accountability, delegation, coaching, mentoring, and customer service. Ability to build effective work relationships quickly and work collaboratively in a global setting both internally and externally. Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail. High business acumen abilities - can understand and deliver on business objectives. High comfort with navigating through ambiguity and frequent change, and course-adjusting in the moment. Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness with good judgement about what can work. Strong influence, negotiation, critical thinking, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
