Associate Director - Roads & Highways

As the face of the India-based Roads & Highways team at WSP, you will be responsible for project management, technical leadership, and timely delivery of technical outputs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Local health and safety, welfare, risk, information security, and assessment/compliance - Project, programme, and financial management - Interfacing with multi-disciplinary project teams - Managing the team and processes to ensure quality technical outputs and deliverables - Providing inspirational leadership for the Roads & Highways team - Mentoring team members towards professional accreditation - Recruitment to achieve team growth - Monitoring and reviewing team capability and identifying training requirements - Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and Quality Assurance Standards - Contributing to bids and marketing material - Maintaining strong colleague relationships and client satisfaction - Contributing to knowledge sharing - Managing people through change and developing succession plans - Delivering successful commercial performance and monitoring agreed targets - Championing and mentoring others in agreed systems and processes - Managing opportunities, risks, and project changes to deliver business advantage - Ensuring budget utilisation and earning capacity targets are met or exceeded Your mandatory skills should include: - Demonstrated knowledge of Design Standards practiced across the ME - Minimum 5 years of experience in ME highway design - Senior technical experience in Highways discipline - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong leadership and management acumen - Ability to understand and explain complex technical issues - Effective time management and organisational skills Qualifications required: - Bachelor's / Masters degree in a highways-related discipline - Chartered Engineer status from a recognised professional institution - Minimum 20 years of experience in design, project management, or leadership in consulting engineering About WSP: WSP is a leading professional services consulting firm with a global presence.
