About the Role: Reporting to the VP of Academic Delivery, the Associate Director, Career Services will strategically lead and operationally manage the career services function for Emeritus Bootcamp learners across technical programs including ML & AI, Coding, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics. This role involves overseeing a team of 4-5 part-time career coaches based in the US and UK, ensuring high-quality learner support, managing resources, handling learner escalations, and driving learner success through proactive, impactful programming. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage the career services function to ensure scalable and high-quality career support. Recruit, onboard, and oversee a high-performing team of 4-5 part-time career coaches in the US and UK, ensuring they deliver consistent, effective coaching services. Plan and execute the monthly webinar series by identifying timely, relevant topics, sourcing expert speakers, and scheduling engaging sessions. Track, analyze, and report team metrics including NPS scores and engagement leveraging data to continuously improve offerings. Proactively manage learner communications related to career services, including proactive updates and seamless delivery of automated drip communications. Manage escalations from learners regarding career services, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement in learner satisfaction. Oversee the Emeritus Career Center, a dedicated platform for accessing career resources, scheduling 1:1 coaching appointments, and hosting webinar recordings; ensure all content and tools are regularly updated, relevant, and user-friendly. Collaborate with Program Delivery Managers to seamlessly integrate career services into the learning journey, including through orientation and mentorship sessions with Course Leaders. Partner closely with the Design team to maintain and refresh the career services asynchronous content and resources within Bootcamp programs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in career services, talent development, or related fields; minimum 3 years managing career coaching teams or contractors. Proven ability to build and scale career services, ideally within online education, bootcamps, or technical training environments. Exceptional operational management skills with experience leading remote global teams. Strong analytical skills, experienced in data-driven decision-making and reporting outcomes. Effective communicator and stakeholder manager, adept at working cross-functionally and managing escalations. Strong experience planning and executing engaging webinars, sourcing relevant speakers, and addressing timely topics. Demonstrated expertise in career coaching methodologies and best practices. Strong analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
