Assistant Vice President – P&C Insurance Broker Support

Assistant Vice President (AVP), P&C Insurance Broker Support


Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of major insurance broker support products/solutions, similar to a Product Management role.
  • Co-manage existing insurance brokerage clients in partnership with client relationship teams.
  • Develop new products organically or through partnerships to bring innovative solutions to market.
  • Build and manage go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue and sales targets.
  • Participate in (and at times lead) RFP responses and business proposals for potential clients.
  • Ensure SLAs and deliverables are consistently met across teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders to drive continuous improvements in service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client decision-makers.
  • Mentor and monitor team performance to meet quality, inventory, and turnaround targets.
  • Lead operations delivery for the site and extend support across multiple sites.

Minimum Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Insurance operations, with focus on

    P&C Insurance lifecycle

    – pre-placement, placement, and post-placement activities (endorsements, policy admin, issuance, checking, quoting, renewals, submissions, surplus lines, licensing, agency admin, inspections, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of the

    U.S. P&C insurance ecosystem

    – distribution, brokerage, technology platforms, data and analytics, and market trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior-level insurance executives.
  • Experience in go-to-market strategies, marketing approaches, and product positioning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office tools.
  • Prior P&L ownership for insurance-related products.

Preferred

  • Relevant domain certifications.
