As a Credit Bureau Business Activity Owner Specialist (Assistant Vice President) focusing on Consumer Credit Risk at our organization, your role is crucial in seamlessly integrating supplier services and credit data. Your responsibilities include understanding strategic initiatives with credit bureaus, managing third-party relationships, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - **FCRA Compliance:** - Ensure data aligns with legal and regulatory standards. - Maintain accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of data exchanged with third parties. - Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to stay ahead of evolving FCRA regulations. - **Third-Party Data Management & Integration:** - Oversee integration and consumption of data from third-party credit bureaus. - Ensure data furnished to credit reporting agencies is accurate, timely, and compliant. - **Contract Management & Financial Oversight:** - Participate in negotiations and manage relationships with third-party credit bureaus. - Align contracts, invoices, and pricing structures with financial discipline. - **Invoice Alignment & Financial Discipline:** - Implement financial oversight practices to align data consumption with cost management strategies. - **Data Governance & Risk Management:** - Follow a comprehensive data governance framework. - Lead the resolution of disputes or discrepancies with vendors. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:** - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data-related activities align with business objectives. - Act as a key liaison between the organization and internal/external stakeholders. - **Leadership & Team Development:** - Foster a culture of regulatory excellence and operational efficiency. - Support a culture of accountability, innovation, and financial discipline. - **Innovation & Continuous Improvement:** - Lead initiatives to automate and streamline data management processes. - Drive innovation in the management of third-party data and compliance. Key Qualifications: - **Educational Background:** - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. - **Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:** - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration. - **Innovation & Continuous Improvement Mindset:** - Forward-thinking mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement. - **Contract Management & Financial Acumen:** - Experience negotiating and managing MSAs and RFPs preferred. - **Data Governance & Risk Management Skills:** - Experience in data governance and strong risk management capabilities.
