Assistant Transport Manager

As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings. You will manage a team and ensure the smooth functioning of the facilities. Your role falls under the Facilities Management functional area, which involves supporting Property Managers in repairs and investment plans. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide formal supervision to employees including training, development, performance evaluations, and coaching. - Schedule and manage the team's daily activities, assign tasks, and track deadlines. - Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors. - Maintain positive client relationships and address unresolved facility issues. - Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. - Ensure facility inspections meet quality standards and comply with regulations. - Manage environmental health and safety procedures. - Oversee vendor relationships, invoicing procedures, and procurement processes. - Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices. - Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues within existing systems and processes. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In absence of a degree, relevant experience and education will be considered. - Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification is preferred. - Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, and performance evaluation is preferred. - Strong leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality and efficiency. - Excellent organizational skills and advanced math abilities for financial calculations.
