As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) Transport, you will play a crucial role in leading and optimizing transport operations across multiple regions. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring fleet efficiency, cost management, team supervision, compliance, and strategic planning to facilitate smooth and timely delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee end-to-end transport operations across regional hubs. - Plan and optimize daily routes, fleet deployment, and delivery schedules. - Manage and monitor transport budgets, cost control, and fuel efficiency. - Handle crisis situations such as vehicle breakdowns, route issues, or delays. - Conduct vendor and transporter negotiation, onboarding, and performance evaluation. Key Skills & Competencies: - Possess 10 to 15 years of experience, with a focus on leadership in large-scale transport operations. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of fleet management, dispatch planning, and route optimization. - Showcase proficiency in using Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS, and MIS reporting. - Exhibit expertise in cost control, vendor management, and regulatory compliance. - Showcase leadership capabilities in managing large teams across multiple locations. - Utilize analytical and decision-making skills effectively. - Have excellent communication and crisis management abilities.
