Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager Location: Tirunga Hotel Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Hotel Manager Job Summary The Assistant Restaurant Manager at Tirunga Hotel supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service, maintaining quality standards, and managing staff efficiently. This role helps create a welcoming dining experience while ensuring smooth, safe, and profitable operations. Key Responsibilities Operations & Service Assist in managing daily restaurant operations and service flow Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally Monitor table reservations, seating, and peak-hour coordination Staff Supervision Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff Assist with staff scheduling and attendance monitoring Ensure staff follow hotel policies, grooming, and service standards Inventory & Cost Control Assist in monitoring stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies Help control wastage and support cost-effective operations Coordinate with kitchen and stores for timely replenishment Cash & Administration Support billing, cash handling, and daily sales reporting Assist in maintaining records, reports, and compliance documents Health & Safety Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are strictly followed Support compliance with local health and safety regulations Qualifications & Skills Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field (preferred) 1–3 years of experience in restaurant or hotel food & beverage operations Strong communication and leadership skills Customer-focused with problem-solving ability Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Personal Attributes Professional and well-groomed Team-oriented and reliable Calm under pressure Positive attitude with attention to detail Benefits (optional – customize as needed) Competitive salary Duty meals Growth opportunities within Tirunga Hotel Supportive work environment
