Job Title: Waiter (Non-Vegetarian Hotel) Job Summary: The Waiter will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages (including non-vegetarian dishes), and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role requires good communication skills, a polite attitude, and knowledge of food service standards in a non-vegetarian hotel/restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus, explain non-vegetarian dishes, daily specials, and recommend items as per customer preference. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards. Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained during service. Assist guests with queries regarding food ingredients (especially meat, poultry dishes). Handle customer complaints politely and escalate to the supervisor/manager if needed. Ensure hygiene and safety standards as per hotel/restaurant policies. Process billing and handle payments accurately. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a waiter (experience in non-vegetarian restaurants preferred). Basic knowledge of food & beverage service. Good communication skills (English, Hindi, or local language). Polite, customer-focused, and professional appearance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Education: Minimum 12th Pass (Hotel Management Diploma preferred but not mandatory).
