At Morphedo Project Managers are mission navigators, balancing deep-tech uncertainty, multi-disciplinary teams, and long timelines. This is not Gantt charts for IT, it’s steering projects where stakes include lives and national security. You will oversee the end-to-end deep-tech product lifecycle, from ideation and R&D to prototyping, certification, and deployment— ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery.

Problem Statements You’ll Solve

• How do we deliver a rugged IoT device to the Indian Army that functions flawlessly at −40°C in Siachen? • How can we coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to build a new dialysis machine that meets CDSCO standards and works reliably in Tier-2 hospitals?

• How do we ensure a solar-powered rural energy system gets certified, manufactured, and deployed within budget and time?

• How can we optimize engineering workflows to handle concurrent R&D projects without compromising quality and compliance?

Responsibilities

1. Project Execution & Delivery

• Define and drive deep-tech project execution from ideation to deployment.

• Manage dependencies, risks, and documentation across multi-disciplinary teams.

• Ensure alignment between engineering, certification, and production.

• Oversee prototyping and validation cycles, ensuring reliability in extreme conditions.

• Promote Agile and Lean implementation for faster, more efficient delivery.

2. Technical Accuracy & Quality

• Ensure all projects adhere to relevant industry standards and certifications (CDSCO, ISO, CE, FDA).

• Maintain high standards of technical documentation for compliance and knowledge transfer.

• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments, planning mitigation strategies early.

• Enforce adherence to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR) principles.

3. Communication & Collaboration

• Act as the primary liaison with clients while safeguarding Morphedo’s intellectual property.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Design, QA, Production, and external partners.

• Prepare and present updates, technical reports, and project reviews to leadership.

• Support leadership in grants, proposals, and technology funding applications.

4. Leadership & Culture

• Lead with empathy while maintaining discipline and strong work commitment.

• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and team members, enabling long-term capability building.

• Uphold ethical leadership and enforce compliance with SOPs and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years managing hardware/deep-tech projects (IoT, medical devices, aerospace, or energy systems).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or R&D Management.

• Proven experience with technical documentation, compliance, and industry certifications (ISO, CE, FDA, CDSCO).

• Strong technical understanding of electronics/IoT/medical devices.

• PMP or equivalent knowledge preferred (not mandatory).

• Familiarity with Agile product development, Lean manufacturing, and process optimization.
