• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE)

• Postgraduate degree in Construction Management or Project Management

• Reporting To: Project Manager

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management within the real estate sector, preferably luxury residential projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of planning concepts and the project life cycle; proven experience with

  Microsoft Project (MSP) is essential.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, enhancing interpersonal relationships across teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a meticulous approach to project management.
• Problem Solving: Proven capacity for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions; a solution oriented mind set is imperative.
• Technological Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and other task/project management software.
• Time Management: Exceptional time management skills capable of prioritizing tasks effectively under pressure.
• Presentation Skills: Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely through design presentations.
• Goal Oriented: Results driven individual with a focus on achieving set objectives.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution and successful delivery of projects, requiring a proactive individual who thrives in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Internal Communication and Protocols:

Collaborate with design managers, construction teams, procurement, and other stakeholders to review and enhance communication, reporting, and documentation protocols.

Establish best practices that promote simplicity and effectiveness.

2. Project Scheduling:

Develop and maintain the project schedule, ensuring timely completion of design, engineering, procurement, and construction activities aligned with the established timeline.

3. Reporting:

Generate periodic project status reports and create weekly snapshots outlining action plans and critical updates.

4. Supervision and Compliance:

Oversee Construction Managers to ensure compliance with building and safety codes while monitoring construction progress and worker productivity.

5. Team Coordination:

Lead and coordinate with internal and external teams, including consultants, for all aspects related to design, construction, procurement, and sales activities.

6. Cross Functional Assistance:

Provide assistance and coordination among design managers, value engineers, site teams, and procurement, sales, legal, and new business teams to address project related scopes effectively.

7. Cost and Time Efficiency:

Identify and implement cost saving strategies throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases of projects.

8. Team Management:

Assist in hiring, mentoring, and managing the internal design management team by setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting monthly performance reviews of design managers.

9. Budget Management:

Evaluate project budgets and oversee consultant payments to ensure financial adherence and accountability.

10. Site Coordination:

Ensure timely resolution of site related Requests for Information (RFIs) concerning design and engineering aspects.

11. Risk Assessment:

Identify project risks and issues, offering solutions and recommendations to mitigate potential delays or complications.
