Job Purpose:

Assist in the day-to-day merchandising operations, including packaging coordination, trims ordering and follow-up, sampling, and production tracking, ensuring timely and accurate execution of buyer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

● Coordinate with vendors for trims and accessories follow up for timely ordering, delivery, and collection.

● Manage packaging development and approvals in alignment with buyer specifications.

● Support the sampling process fabric/trims arrangement, sample dispatches, and tracking feedback from buyers.

● Assist the senior merchandiser in preparing order sheets, costing details, and production follow-ups.

● Maintain T&A (Time & Action) calendars and ensure adherence to deadlines.

● Liaise with production and quality teams to ensure samples and bulk production meet required standards.

● Maintain records of trims, packaging, and sample inventories.

● Support day-to-day communication with buyers and internal teams for smooth workflow.

● Handle documentation related to orders, dispatches, and approvals.

● Assist in resolving any production or trims-related issues in coordination with relevant departments.

Job Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Management, Apparel Production, or a related field.

● 2–3 years of relevant experience in garment merchandising.

● Strong understanding of fabric, Luxury textile packaging materials, and sampling processes.

● Good knowledge of garment production flow and basic costing.

● Excellent follow-up and coordination skills.

● Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets; ERP knowledge will be an advantage.

● Good communication skills in both English and Hindi.

● Attention to detail, proactive approach, and ability to multitask effectively.
