Job Description

Job Title: MIS Reporting Analyst Role Purpose Responsible for end-to-end ownership of MIS reporting, report generation, automation, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of business-critical data to internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Process Improvement & Standardization Identify and implement process improvement and standardization initiatives across reporting functions. Perform Time & Motion Studies to audit and validate performance-related exceptions. Documentation & Compliance Maintain process-wise documentation (SOPs) for all reports. Ensure adherence to reporting policies, data privacy, and compliance standards. Reporting & Analytics Generate and distribute critical MIS reports and dashboards as per defined timelines. Deliver financial inputs and executive-level dashboards for senior management. Support new reporting requirements by building logical frameworks and analytical models. Provide data analytics support to the Customer Services team and other cross-functional departments. Automation & Tool Utilization Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and reduce non-value-added activities. Transition regular reports to automated platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and other BI tools. Enable automated scheduling and delivery of reports, ensuring accessibility even on holidays. Align data dumps and outputs to user-specific requirements for enhanced usability. Database Management & Coordination Ensure effective database management across various reporting channels. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill new report or data requirements. Monitor timeliness and accuracy through robust tracking mechanisms. Ad-hoc Reporting & Support Manage and fulfill ad-hoc data requests from leadership and other teams. Proactively suggest improvement opportunities based on analytical insights and observations. Key Skills & Competencies Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and other data visualization tools. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and process orientation. Ability to manage multiple reports with accuracy and meet tight deadlines. Effective communication and coordination skills across teams. Strong understanding of MIS processes and data governance standards. Qualifications & Experience Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field. 3–6 years of experience in MIS Reporting, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence. Experience in automation and advanced reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
