Key responsibilities:

• Lead routine and type testing of LV Switchgear & WD products as per IS/IEC standards.
• Manage lab operations, including manpower, QMS, audits, and technician training.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate testing instruments; oversee preventive maintenance.
• Analyze test results, prepare detailed reports, and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with design and quality teams for test planning and execution.
• Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and support corrective actions.
• Develop SOPs and train team members on testing procedures.
• Maintain calibration and AMC records for lab equipment.
• Drive improvement projects and prepare lab MIS reports.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in lab testing of Switchgear/WD products.
• Hands-on experience with NABL processes is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IS/IEC standards and electrical testing procedures.
• Familiarity with MCB, RCCB, Isolators, Switches, Sockets, and WD accessories.

Skills required:

• In-depth understanding of electrical product testing.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and test report preparation.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in Gauge R&R and root cause analysis.
