Job Descriptio

nKey Responsibilities

• :Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost and quality
• .Conduct zero-based costing, should-cost analysis, and benchmarking for various manufacturing processes
• .Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, and Manufacturing) for new product development
• .Manage vendor relationships and drive supplier development initiatives
• .Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and delivery timelines
• .Perform supplier negotiation, contract management, and procurement planning
• .Conduct supplier audits and compliance checks to ensure quality and regulatory standards. tilize SAP and Excel for procurement, data analysis, and reporting
  

.Requirement

sQualifications & Experience

• :B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• .4 to 9 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and vendor development
• .Experience in global sourcing, cost reduction strategies, and supplier assessment
  

.Technical Skills:Cost Reduction & Value Engineerin

• –Supplier Negotiation & Contract Management – Managing supplier agreements and negotiations
• .Manufacturing Process Knowledge – Deep understanding of casting, machining, sheet metal, and surface treatment (painting & plating)
• .Should-Costing & Bench marking – Evaluating supplier costs using industry benchmarks
• .Procurement Planning & Inventory Management – Managing sourcing strategies and stock levels
• .Global Sourcing & Supplier Assessment – Identifying and qualifying vendors from global markets
• .Supplier Audits & Compliance – Ensuring suppliers meet quality and regulatory standards
• .ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) – Hands-on experience in procurement modules
• .Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
