We’re looking for a candidate with good communication and a solid background in the polymer industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building long-term relationships and adept at engaging effectively with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Procurement:

    Develop and execute procurement strategies for (polymers/resins/plastics) aligned with organisation goals.


  • Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for polymer raw materials (domestic & international).
  • Maintain healthy and strong partnership with Supplier to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Ensure alignment on quality, delivery, and pricing.


  • Cross- Functional Collaboration:

     Work closely with sales, logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement strategies.


  • Contract Negotiation:

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
  • Ensure procurement aligns with budget, risk and forecast across supply chain.


  • Supplier Performance:

     Monitor supplier KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.


  • Market & Price Tracking

  • Conduct Market analysis to track polymer market trends, raw material pricing, risk, opportunities and competitor sourcing strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to management for informed procurement decisions.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of polymers, resins, and petrochemical markets.
  • Negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems & MS Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in

    Chemicals, Polymers, or Supply Chain Management

    (preferred).
  • 3–6 years

    of procurement experience in

    polymers with

    strong background in global sourcing.
  • Customer focus and ability to build trust-based relationships.
  • Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience in supplier performance management and cost optimization.
  • Analytical and proactive, with a solid understanding of global polymers markets.
  • Organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
