We are looking for a Chemical Procurement Executive / Manager to join our growing procurement team. This is a key role that will directly impact our supply chain efficiency and cost competitiveness, especially in the chemical and polymer segments . Key Responsibilities Supplier Pricing & Sourcing Obtain competitive pricing from existing and new suppliers Evaluate supplier quotes to align with company targets Negotiation & Deal Finalization Negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery schedules Strike the right balance between cost, quality, and reliability Supplier Coordination & Execution Ensure timely confirmations, dispatches, and delivery updates Handle supply disruptions or quality issues swiftly Issue Resolution & Order Support Proactively escalate execution bottlenecks Support sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment Purchase Order (PO) Management Create and manage POs in line with internal policies and workflows Supplier Development & Relationship Management Identify and onboard new suppliers for both new and existing products Build long-term, strategic supplier partnerships for favourable conversions Product & Market Knowledge Deep dive into our product portfolio, customer industries, and applications Monitor global market trends, demand/supply gaps, and competitor activity Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related field 3–5 years of relevant experience in chemical procurement (polymer/chemical distribution preferred) Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Familiarity with ERP systems and strong Excel proficiency Excellent communication and coordination abilities Understanding of international markets and logistics is a plus What We’re Looking For Proactive, solution-driven mindset Ability to multitask across suppliers, SKUs, and markets Attention to detail with a focus on execution excellence
Role Summary - To support in the procurement process for Chemicals vertical. Key Activities - Pricing from supplier - Obtain pricing information from suppliers for products Negotiation - Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to secure favourable deals. Supplier Co-ordination - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues Execution escalation - Escalate and manage any issues during the execution phase to ensure t imely resolution. Support Order conversion - Assist in converting orders to ensure seamless processing and delivery. Supplier development - New supplier development for new product. New supplier development for existing product. Supplier relationship management (For Favourable business conversion) PO creation- Create purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies and procedures. PRODUCT - Product and application, Industry understanding Market intelligence Market understanding, Global demand and supply gap analysis. Position Requirements - Expereince - 3 to 6 years of relevant expereince Education - B.Sc in Chemistry
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships (domestic international) by handling inquiries, addressing concerns, and delivering exceptional service. Commercial Negotiations: Lead negotiations, prepare/send offers, and manage order confirmations in line with company policies. Credit Collections: Monitor outstanding payments, follow up for debt collections, and conduct credit assessments to ensure financial discipline. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, particularly in French-speaking international markets . Reporting Data Management: Prepare MIS reports and maintain an updated customer database for strategic business decisions. Applications Development New Product Development: Collaborate with technical teams and customers for application development and material innovations aligned with market needs. Technical Trials Customer Support: Recommend new materials, coordinate product trials, and ensure successful adoption. Commodity Sales Support: Work with the sales team to support commodity sales and contribute to sales strategy execution. Market Competitor Analysis: Research and analyze trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic direction. Client Engagement: Conduct customer visits, prepare visit reports, and share actionable insights. Cross-Functional Responsibilities: Participate in job rotation and support strategic projects assigned by management.
