About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Core member of the NPD Supply Chain team, responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain for New Product Development (NPD) projects.
- Once a product is cleared for launch, take complete ownership of setting up the supply chain.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard RM (Raw Material) and PM (Packing Material) vendors; lead cost negotiations to ensure cost competitiveness.
- Make data-backed make-vs-buy decisions and identify the right manufacturing partners.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to set up new machinery or modify existing lines.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Packaging Development, Innovation, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure end-to-end delivery of NPD projects from raw material sourcing to market dispatch.
- Act as the key custodian for Quality & Safety compliance across all NPD processes.
- Track project timelines, highlight risks, and drive issue resolution to ensure successful on-time launch.
- Maintain structured documentation, dashboards, and trackers for NPD supply chain activities.
Who are we looking for?
Education
- Graduate degree in Engineering / Science (Mandatory)
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing (preferred).
- Mandatory: Minimum 2 years of sourcing experience in FMCG sector. Good to have: Manufacturing experience or contract manufacturing management experience.
Experience
- 2–4 years of sourcing / manufacturing / supply chain experience, preferably in FMCG.
- Hands-on experience in vendor identification, development, and negotiation.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and setting up production lines / machinery for new products.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, procurement systems, and manufacturing best practices. Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred)

- Strong collaboration skills with ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders (R&D, Packaging, Manufacturing, Innovation, Finance).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to challenge the status quo constructively and drive improvements.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to engage internal and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment with a strong bias for action.
