Assistant Manager Human Resources

**Job Description** As an Assistant in the Human Resource Office at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat, your role involves assisting in the daily activities of the HR Department, including recruitment, total compensation, and training and development. Your responsibilities include ensuring HR services meet or exceed employee needs, enabling business success, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist in interviewing and hiring Human Resource team members with the necessary skills. - Maintain contact with external recruitment sources and attend job fairs. - Monitor candidate identification and selection process. - Work with the unemployment services provider and respond to unemployment claims. - Assist in departmental orientation program for new employees. - Maintain effective employee communication channels. - Ensure compliance with legal and compliance practices, including managing employee files and ensuring safety and security policies are communicated. **Qualifications Required** - High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in HR, management operations, or related field. - OR 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with no work experience required.
