Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources is responsible for supporting all HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, training, payroll, and compliance. The role ensures smooth implementation of HR policies, fosters a positive work environment, and contributes to the overall growth and development of the organization and its employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process – sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting suitable candidates.
  • Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower requirements.
  • Facilitate onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new employees.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Maintain healthy employee relations and address grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and welfare initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, motivation, and continuous improvement.

3. Training & Development:

  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.

4. Payroll & Attendance Management:

  • Oversee time and attendance records, leave management, and payroll coordination with accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in salary processing and statutory deductions.

5. Performance Management:

  • Support the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely completion and documentation.
  • Provide data and feedback for employee development plans.

6. Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records, files, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate statutory audits and renewals (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.).

7. HR Administration:

  • Prepare HR reports and MIS on recruitment, attrition, training, and employee engagement.
  • Assist in policy implementation and HR communication across departments..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
