Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in indirect tax. Roles and responsibilities: Compliance Management ü Manage monthly and annual GST compliance for multiple clients across industries. ü Review GST returns, reconciliations (GSTR-2B vs books), and tax payment workings. ü Ensure timely filing and accuracy of returns in accordance with Indian GST laws. ü Support clients in responding to GST notices and departmental audits. Tax Advisory Support ü Assist in drafting first-level tax advisory notes and technical memos on indirect tax matters. ü Conduct research on complex GST provisions, circulars, advanced rulings, and judicial precedents. ü Work on impact analysis and restructuring exercises under GST laws. Customs & Trade Advisory (Preferred but not mandatory) ü Exposure to customs laws, import-export procedures, and FTP (Foreign Trade Policy) will be considered a plus. ü Assist in matters relating to classification, valuation, exemptions, and duty structures Client Management & Internal Coordination ü Liaise with client tax teams for data collation, validation, and clarifications. ü Coordinate with internal teams to ensure quality and timely delivery. ü Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders or clients, where appropriate. Knowledge and skills required: ü Hands-on experience with GST compliance and return filing. ü Basic understanding of tax advisory writing and tax law interpretation. ü Working knowledge of customs laws will be an added advantage. ü Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. ü Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and tax compliance tools.
