Assistant Manager - Finance

As an Assistant Manager - Finance, you will be an integral part of our Finance team in North America. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around financial reporting, compliance, financial planning, analysis, and risk management. It is essential for you to have a strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS, financial analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic multinational setting. Your tasks will include overseeing financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and local regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for tax compliance, audits, statutory filings, and maintaining internal controls. Additionally, you will work closely with business unit leaders to drive financial performance, support mergers and acquisitions decisions, and implement financial policies and best practices. Monitoring cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks will be crucial aspects of your role. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for North America operations, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Furthermore, you will mentor finance professionals, lead cross-functional initiatives, and strive for continuous improvement in financial operations. To excel in this position, you should possess an MBA / MS in Finance, CPA, CFA, MCom, or CA qualification along with at least 4 years of finance experience, particularly managing client accounts in the US and Canada. Proficiency in US GAAP, IFRS, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and tools like QuickBooks, Zoho, and Xero is essential. Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment are also required. This full-time permanent role offers a remote or hybrid work setup in Guwahati, with engagement in the North America shift.
