Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunity in the Market and Product segment as per business strategy approved by the Management.
  • Identify new customers, review their profiles and do a preliminary assessment to review and decide if we should work with the customer or not.
  • Prepare customer profile, study the project, do preliminary assessment, prepare project proposal and if the project is feasible review with BDT Head and Executive Director- Technical
  • Generate new opportunities by participating in trade fares, by promotions and contacts.
  • Review Customer agreements and contracts and follow up with teams to deploy the same across the company.
  • Review of each new enquiry with Head of Business development and finalise the acceptance.
  • For accepted enquiry prepare Techno-commercial feasibility report and get it approved by Head of BDT and Executive Director – Technical & Managing Director.
  • Evaluation of Risk assessment with help of Cross functional team & risk management.
  • Coordinate with Departments like Sourcing, Engineering, and EXIM & Production for the costing purpose.
  • Prepare Costing – review with Head of Business Development
  • Send quotation to customer after the costings are approved.
  • On Quote approval get order for samples by following up with customer.
  • Coordinate with the New Product Development (NPD) team and the customer for any clarifications or Roadblocks.
  • Follow up for sample approval & get Mass production order from Customer.
  • Transfer the Project to Sales and Order processing with all details of customers contacts and commercials with agreements.
  • The Project is handled by Project leaders reporting to Head of Engineering. To coordinate with Project leaders and ensure the product after acceptance of Quote and the receipt of orders for samples are successfully transferred to Mass production.
  • Follow Sales Targets and work to achieve the same.
  • Update Departmental reports and trackers with the latest information on the projects.
  • Front end interactions with customer- clarifications, approvals, orders, agreements reviews, visit scheduling, updating new developments and understanding the developments at customer place.
  • Customer feedback or complaints – effective resolution within agreed schedule.
