Job Id: PROD_00014 Position: Assistant Manager Designation: Assistant Manager Department: PRODUCTION - MACHINE SHOP Function: experience in VMC / 5 Axis / Turn-Mill Centre in Setting and Trouble Shooting Manpower and resource planning Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-time Job Location: Bangalore Posted on: 25/05/2025 Education & Experience Required Qualification: BE or Diploma in Mechanical Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in Aerospace manufacturing – Production Machine Shop Knowledge & Skills Precision Machining of Aerospace Parts Strong analytical skills Team management & team player Good Communication skills Responsibilities Hands on experience in VMC / 5 Axis / Turn-Mill Centre in Setting and Trouble Shooting Resource planning for 3 months rolling against the confirmed order and ensure all adequate resources are available in advance to meet monthly demands Monitor and Improve OEE (Overall equipment effectiveness) Implement and practice Safety / TPM / 5S / QMS Monitor and Control CPC (Counter pressure casting) as targeted for all the machined component Ensure the dispatch is picked-up as per Delivery Control Chart /dispatch list from Order Fulfilment Team Ensure zero defect in production line by deploying only trained/skilled resources and by providing right RM, TGFs, Machine. Taking immediate actions on any quality issues or defects in the line and resuming production in short period Weekly & Daily planning as per customer demand Capacity planning as & when new products for production Yearly Budget planning considering forecast (Manpower, Consumables, Tools, Equipment’s, Space) Replan the day’s target in case of major concerns Review next day’s ShiftWise plan kit status & clear the roadblocks for starting production Conduct production meeting, review the pending tasks & ensure completion of task within the planned time Participate in NPD projects and make sure smooth transition from FAI to PPAP/Serial Production.
