Job Title: Assistant Accounts Manager

Location:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Accounts Manager to oversee general financial accounting and cost accounting functions. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, cost analysis, and compliance with statutory regulations while supporting overall financial planning and control.

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Financial Accounting:

  • Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and audits.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and MIS reports for management.
  • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.

2. Cost Accounting & Analysis:

  • Track and analyze project costs, material costs, and overheads to ensure cost control.
  • Implement costing methods (e.g., standard costing, job costing,) to optimize expenses.
  • Monitor profit margins and provide insights to improve cost efficiency.
  • Support pricing decisions by evaluating cost structures.
  • Work closely with procurement and operations teams for cost optimization strategies.

3. Compliance & Internal Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, and other financial regulations.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Implement financial controls to prevent fraud, errors, and misstatements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / ICWA Inter).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial and cost accounting, preferably in a design-build, constructioncompany.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally, ERP software, and Excel.
  • Understanding of financial reporting, cost analysis, and tax laws.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project-based accounting or construction finance.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control strategies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
