SAUNI L2P3 O&M PROJECT, Botad, Gujarat, India Department OPERATIONS & MAINTANCE Job posted on Jun 03, 2025 Employment type REGULAR JOB DESCRIPTION SECTION I: BASIC INFORMATION ON THE ROLE Position Name AGM – Plant Operations Function Operation & Maintenance Line of Business Region Grade C 3 Reporting to Functionally Administratively General Manager – O&M General Manager – O&M Roles Reporting into No. of employees Role Description Engineer - Operations Multiple Responsible to develop, monitor and manage day to day operation of the plant Engineer - Maintenance Multiple Responsible for plant maintenance for overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes SECTION II: JOB SUMMARY Responsible for managing the day to day activities of the plant and ensuring the operations, maintenance, and vendor management standards of the contract are met in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner. SECTION III : DO – KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE Perspective Responsibility Strategic Plans and executes operation and maintenance activities for the plant with emphasis on cost and quality Financial Assists the General Manager in the preparation of annual operation budget for regional O&M activities Tracks and monitors all operations and maintenance expense of the plant to ensure adherence to budget and optimize costs Ensures sustainable revenue growth every year Customer Ensures the effective delivery of objectives laid down in the contracts Resolves problems and/or conflicts and maintains open communication with the client including providing regular written and oral reports to ensure satisfaction Internal Process/Internal Process/Operations Manages, directs and schedules day-to-day and long-term activities for assigned properties and ensures that all procedures of the O&M are being properly implemented to ensure smooth functioning of the plant and minimizes the occurrence of breakdowns Coordinates with respective government authorities regarding clearances, in case of emergency problem in the plant. Reviews and recommends for approval of all expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies, materials and additional plant O&M requirements Establishes mechanisms for process tracking, analyzing and performance reporting in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction Liaises with other departments (Procurement, branch etc.) to reduce costs and improve quality of service Interprets and analyzes highly complex electrical/mechanical processes and procedures for smooth functioning of the plant Uses Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to generate reports, graphs, trends and similar data to track performance goals, manage facility usage, and track equipment history and repair costs Develops detailed reports and provides follow-up recommendations when necessary Analyzes risks and ensures risk mitigation in a timely and appropriate manner Effectively handles the labor force and related issues Ensures compliance to processes, quality, safety and industry standards at project site Ensures compliance to statutory and labor laws as per the Industrial Act Learning & Development Ensures training of personnel for practical knowledge of handling the plant in an effective manner Identifies opportunities to improve process, planning or performance through analysis of systems SECTION IV: DELIVER – KEY OUTPUTS / RESULTS FROM THE ROLE Key Performance Indicators (KPI) What are the measurable indicators for the role?
