Assistant General Manager Finance

Role Overview: You will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, reporting, cost control and management, accounts management, internal controls and compliance, inventory management, support and collaboration, and other duties as assigned by the Plant Finance Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. - Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and provide recommendations for corrective actions. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policies. - Monitor and analyze cost expenditures and implement cost-saving initiatives. - Manage the plant's general ledger and ensure proper reconciliation of all accounts. - Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. - Monitor and manage inventory levels, conduct periodic physical inventory counts, and recommend actions to optimize inventory levels. - Collaborate with other departments to support overall plant operations and financial health. - Stay updated with industry trends and perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment. - Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
