Assistant General Manager Finance

Role Overview: As a Financial Planning and Analysis professional, your role will involve assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. You will be responsible for analyzing financial performance against key business metrics, conducting variance analysis, and providing recommendations for corrective actions. Additionally, you will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitor cost expenditures, and implement cost-saving initiatives to increase plant efficiency and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. - Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and conduct variance analysis. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the plant. - Monitor and analyze cost expenditures and financial performance of the plant. - Manage the plant's general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions. - Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. - Monitor and manage inventory levels, conduct periodic physical inventory counts, and analyze inventory turnover and obsolescence. - Collaborate with other departments to support overall plant operations and financial health. - Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is preferred. - Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.,
