Assistant General Manager Finance

Role & responsibilities

• *Ensure finalization of Unit's monthly Reports in the format desired by Management
• *Annual closing of accounts: Ensure the annual closure of Unit's financial books and get the accounts audited from auditor
• *Statutory Compliances: TDS an TCS Returns
• * VAT & CST
• *Indirect Taxes, Documentations
• *MIS from FP2 after detail analysis & co-ordination with ICT Team
• *Finalization & submission of Budget of Company
• *Reducing OD Payables
• *Codification & verification of assets
• *Reconciliation / Balance confirmation of Supplier and HO Accounts
• *Ensuring proper tracking, movement to scrap yard, weighment and storage
• *Negotiating with buyers and exploring options to ensure maximum realizations
• *Documentations and statutory compliances relating to scrap movements
• *Ensuring timely availability of consumables, packing material, R&M, capex, quality related items and other services as per the requirement at plant.
• *Negotiating and approving prices and payment terms of above items with in delegation of plant and arranging approval from SCM Head at HO in other cases
• *Approving purchase orders, finalization of contracts, delivery and service terms relating to above items and services as per the DOA Document
• *To ensure proper handling of raw material, spares and other items, maintenance of records relating to receipt and issue of material including statutory compliances.

*Ensuring statutory compliances, custom requirements, proper documentations and SEZ requirements
