You will be joining Orient Electric, a leading consumer electrical brand in India and a part of the CK Birla Group, a diversified conglomerate with a rich history of global relationships. As a Senior Area Sales Manager (Sr. ASM) based in Chennai, your role will be crucial in driving business growth in the assigned territory. Your key responsibilities will include: - Driving secondary and tertiary sales with a focus on achieving the right mix of category and channel distribution. - Ensuring numeric and weighted distribution targets are met. - Managing channel schemes effectively and overseeing settlements. - Implementing and driving visibility programs in the market, including in-shop displays and BTL activities. - Providing market intelligence on pricing, schemes, new product launches, etc. - Ensuring adherence to the PJP (Planned Journey Plan) for Trade & Modern Retail. - Serving as a product trainer for distributor and retailer sales staff. - Managing, coaching, and developing the team of Long Arm salespersons. - Implementing and ensuring adherence to digital initiatives like DMS (Dealer Management System) & SFA (Sales Force Automation).
