Assistant Factory Manager (FMCG)

We are Urgently Hiring for a Assistant Factory Manager with one of the leading Tea Manufacture Company in India

Location: Umargam Gujarat

Experience: 5 Years & Above

Salary: 8 LPA to 9 LPA

Responsibilities

• Packaging Material Stock Management:

  Monitor and maintain packaging material inventory levels and ensure all related documentation is updated.

• Research & Development:

  Conduct R&D for packaging materials required for new product development.

• Document Management for Audits:

  Maintain, update, and monitor all documents required for government and third-party audits.

• Regulatory Audits:

  Handle all regulatory audits and prepare/submission of closing reports.

• Production Planning:

  Plan daily/weekly production based on orders and ensure all relevant documentation is maintained.

• Coordination with Production Team:

  Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely achievement of production targets.

• Food Safety Guidelines:

  Implement and maintain all food safety guidelines as per industry standards.

• Safety Activities & Documentation:

  Conduct and document timely activities related to firefighting systems, weighing & measurement checks, pest control, and employee medical checkups.

• Incoming Material Inspection:

  Inspect all incoming packaging materials (primary, secondary, tertiary), analyze quality, and maintain inspection records.

• Team Management Assistance:

  Support the Factory Manager in overseeing supervisors, machine operators, and factory staff.

• Stock Management:

  Maintain optimal stock of raw materials and packaging materials to ensure seamless production.

• Quality Control:

  Identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

• Maintenance Coordination:

  Coordinate with maintenance teams for routine checks, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

• Health & Safety Compliance:

  Ensure full compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations.

• Safety Protocol Implementation:

  Implement safety protocols and conduct training for employees on safe practices.

• Production Record Maintenance:

  Maintain detailed production records including quality logs, output quantities, and raw material consumption.

• Reporting:

  Provide regular production updates, challenges, and achievements to the Factory Manager.

• Cost Control:

  Monitor and manage production costs to ensure optimal resource utilization.

• Process Improvement:

  Identify and implement continuous improvements in production processes.

• Environmental Compliance:

  Ensure operations comply with environmental regulations applicable to tea manufacturing facilities.
