About Civil & Urban Infrastructure Business
KEC’s Civil business focuses on the construction of factories, warehouses, residential buildings, railway stations, metros, and sewage & water treatment plants, and comprises of four verticals –
- Infrastructure & Heavy Civil (Metro & Water Projects),
- Industrial & Hydrocarbon (Factories ) ,

Job Summary
Assistant Engineer- FormworkKey AccountabilitiesDuty Statements1 . Establish Project Formwork Scheme after due diligence wrt Design Drawing, structure type, material availability, etc.
- Knowledge of various formwork systems & their performance wrt material durability, specification, usage, etc.
- Design of safe formwork system from available system components and relevant IS codes / standards
- Co-ordination of various stakeholders towards sourcing of Formwork Systems (Purchase / External Hire / Internal transfers) \
- Inventory management and co-ordination for Formwork materials
- Keeping track of standard productivity norms & maintaining Project Shuttering Usage Ratio (SUR)
- Reconciliation of formwork materials to ensure minimum wastage / idling
- Close co-ordination with drafting team to generate Formwork working drawings duly approved by management / client
- Formwork Design, execution & co-ordination for various types of formwork such as
